This was the biggest weed culture party in Toronto, transforming REBEL nightclub into a sensory experience funhouse. Budtenders rolling up on a trippy hippie bus, an outdoor smoke lounge with a weed leaf ice sculpture, drink and food stations, arcade games.. you name it. Throughout the night there were performances by aerialists, drummers, and circus performers on stilts. DJs playing different sounds in different rooms - everything from rap and house to rare dub plates.
TREC’s own Alyssa Boston hosted the event, wearing a paper dress with Health Canada packaging printed on it, a statement piece that highlights some of the challenges our industry faces when it comes to packaging. This was a safe space to party with industry leaders that are all collectively working toward destigmatization and celebrating cannabis culture. Photos below of all the good vibes 👍
